Kuwait Towers
أبراج الكويت
Three sculptural towers where public life, water infrastructure, and the Gulf horizon meet.
The story
A place is more than its silhouette.
History
Inaugurated in 1979, Kuwait Towers completed a wider system of water towers created for a rapidly growing capital. Their public viewing sphere transformed essential infrastructure into a confident national landmark.
Architecture & experience
The composition pairs two functional water towers with a slender lighting tower. Blue-green mosaic discs wrap the spheres, while the main tower lifts a viewing level and restaurant above the shoreline.
