The story

Built in Kuwait,
understood in context.

Agility’s roots are in public warehousing. Its development demonstrates how logistics expertise can grow from a domestic service into a portfolio of international operating businesses — including a major 2021 restructuring in which its global freight-forwarding logistics arm was sold, leaving today’s Agility Global as an operator and investment holding company.

The Public Warehousing Company was incorporated in Kuwait in 1979. Between 2003 and 2020 it built a Global Integrated Logistics (GIL) business through more than 40 acquisitions, operating under the Agility name. In 2021, Agility sold its Global Integrated Logistics business to DSV Panalpina in an all-share transaction, receiving DSV shares equal to roughly 8% of DSV's post-transaction outstanding shares. Since that sale, the company has operated as Agility Global, a multi-business owner and operator built around Menzies Aviation (aviation and airport services), Tristar (fuel and chemicals logistics) and Agility Logistics Parks (industrial real estate), alongside its retained DSV shareholding.
